Hannah Wilson says it was shockingly easy to obtain a medicinal cannabis prescription, despite her history of schizophrenic psychosis.
In her late teens, Ms Wilson asked her doctor for a medicinal cannabis prescription to help manage her depression and anxiety.
Ms Wilson said her doctor wrote her prescription with very few questions asked, and no questions around her experiences with psychosis and alcohol addiction.
The now 23-year-old said she decided to quit medicinal cannabis after a few doses, but had been bombarded with online advertisements ever since.
"It's just in your face," Ms Wilson said.
